Il Modello HSB o HSV si basa sugli attributi di luminanza (B = brightness) e di crominanza, quest’ultima distinta in tinta (H = hue) e saturazione (S = sturation). È rappresentato da un solido piramidale a base esagonale (o a cono) rovesciato caratterizzato da due coordinate lineari (B e S) ed una angolare (H).
